Spring Detox

Regular price $10.00

While we are not fans of the "cleanse and detox" fads all over Dr. Oz and the internet (Weight loss is not in and of itself a health goal and most of these products and fad diets are just body-shaming and just plain unhealthy.), we do offer this product seasonally to start your year off right.

Spring Detox is meant to jump-start your metabolism and gently cleanse the liver after a winter of fattier foods and more sedentary living. There is no need to do more than one bottle. There is no need to fast. There is no need to change your diet (unless your diet was unhealthy in the first place!). Simply take a spoonful in the morning and a spoonful sometime before dinner until the bottle is gone. That's it- it's just that simple!

Spring Detox comes in a 4 ounce bottle. This is a seasonal product available in March and April.

Ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar*, Raw, Local Honey*, Molasses*, Lemon Juice*, Ginger Root*, Cayenne Pepper* (*organic)

Specific Contraindications and Warnings:
This is a product intended for adults only. Please do not give to children. This product contains cayenne pepper suspended in the liquid. Please shake well before dosing, as a clot of cayenne at the end of the bottle is a nasty surprise.

General Contraindications & Warnings:
Like all herbal medicine, our products work best when combined with a lifestyle that includes clean water, whole foods, gentle exercise, and plenty of self-love.

You could be allergic to a plant, a plant family, honey, or another ingredient in a formula just like you could be allergic to a food. Use standard commonsense precautions when trying new things. If any adverse reactions happen that coincide with the taking of this product, discontinue use and consult your herbalist, naturopath, or doctor.

Standard required disclaimer for the USA:
The statements made here have not been approved by the FDA. These statements are not intended to diagnose, prevent, treat, or cure any disease or replace advice from a health practitioner.

This notice is required by the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act for herbalists and people like me but not big pharma, who is in bed with the FDA. After umpteen million product recalls, birth defects and deaths, big pharma still doesn't have to label like this- even though the ingredients in this product has been used safely for much longer than any pharmaceutical preparation has. Just sayin'.

Standard required disclaimer for Canada:
If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health practitioner.
