This is not a yoni "detox"- most uteruses cleanse themselves quite efficiently. Your vagina and uterus are not dirty and do not need to be cleansed! In the rare case of tissue being left after a cycle (a specific medical issue), a steam can help with that though. This is a treatment that helps with specific issues (see formulas below), not specifically cleansing.
Ancient Korean vaginal steams, better known as “chai-yok,” required sitting naked for up to 45 minutes on an open-seated stool above a steaming pot of water filled with medicinal and aromatic herbs such as mugwort, rosemary, wormwood and basil.
We have four formulas:
Fertility Prep (which helps women prepare for pregnancy and aids in infertility issues: Ingredients: Raspberry Leaf*, Rosemary*, Rose*, Black Haw*, (*organic))
Menopausal (which helps with vaginal dryness, hot flashes and night sweats, mood swings and more: Ingredients: Raspberry Leaf*, Mugwort*, Mothererwort*, Marshmallow Leaf*, (*organic))
Postpartum Healing (which aids in healing and is especially effective in conjunction with our Sitz Bath: Ingredients: Raspberry leaf*, Calendula flowers*, Self Heal*, Yarrow* (*organic))
Troublesome Cycles (which helps people with issues like PCOS, heavy bleeding, passing clots, excessive cramping, endometriosis, and other menstrual issues: Ingredients: Raspberry Leaf*, Basil*, Rose*, Red Clover*, Lavender* (*organic))
Our steams come in 2 ounce bags.
Specific Contraindications and Warnings:
Please consult with your midwife before doing a steam. As S/he knows your medical history, s/he may know of reasons why you should not.
DO NOT do a steam if you have an IUD. A copper IUD can heat up and burn your insides, and a plastic one could melt.
General Contraindications & Warnings:
Like all herbal medicine, our products work best when combined with a lifestyle that includes clean water, whole foods, gentle exercise, and plenty of self-love.
You could be allergic to a plant, a plant family, honey, or another ingredient in a formula just like you could be allergic to a food. Use standard commonsense precautions when trying new things. If any adverse reactions happen that coincide with the taking of this product, discontinue use and consult your herbalist, naturopath, or doctor.

This notice is required by the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act for herbalists and people like me but not big pharma, who is in bed with the FDA. After umpteen million product recalls, birth defects and deaths, big pharma still doesn't have to label like this- even though the ingredients in this product has been used safely for much longer than any pharmaceutical preparation has. Just sayin'.
